CONEXPO / IFPE 2020

Update 3.5.2020 @ 7:44am:

I’m not in the convention business, I’m in the hydraulic and pneumatic business. I’ve worked on or under almost every piece of equipment displayed at Conexpo/IFPE. I have been in this business for 40+ yrs and have been coming to this show since I was a kid. It’s a special show, it means something to me, to us. Permco makes this show part of its required training curriculum for many of its staff. The networking from here and abroad, fellowship, learning opportunities both technically and culturally, this show, once every 3 years, is unique. As a family business that has managed to survive 107 yrs, it’s a show where we recognize those whose shoulders we stand upon, even though our weight may have driven them to their knee’s and a show/event/milestone where we celebrate our customers and the unique relationships we form.

It is excruciatingly painful for me to announce that for safety reasons, Permco will be cancelling multiple planned events.

We are working diligently to re-group and communicate to you alternative events that pose less risk. We realize there are some friends who are local/regional to Las Vegas who are still planning to attend, along with those who were unable to cancel, and those who have decided to attend regardless of the current environment. If you processed your show badge via Team Permco, we have made arrangements for badge pick up on your behalf and will get them in your hands. Our motor pool and transport teams have been hit the hardest with staff reductions so we are suspending the shuttle service. We have cancelled all the “themed nights” at private residence Tuesday thru Friday that were published on the invitations and web sites and verbally by our team members. Despite our best efforts to follow CDC suggestions and reduce all travel and crowd risk for our organization, we were unable to abandon certain contracts and responsibilities and as such have a small volunteer team that will be positioned in Vegas, to provide limited service and hospitality off convention site. The  planned daily cocktail party in our booth has been cancelled for all days. Further announcements and changes to agenda will be forthcoming.
