Permco School October 19th-22nd
Permco’s Hydraulic Technology & Troubleshooting Course is scheduled to run from October
19th (Mon) through Oct 22nd (Thurs) . Openings for this course are limited.
The classroom portion of the course will cover basic hydraulics, fluid power, pumps, motors,
flow dividers, systems, and formulas used in everyday applications. The student will receive
in-depth, practical knowledge on how best to use this information. A portion of the time
will cover Permco’s codebooks, literature, markets, web based tools, applications, and
pump identification. Hands on training to include porting techniques, bearing, bushing and
vane pump assembly and advanced failure analysis. Be sure to bring work clothes for this
part of the class.
This course is conducted at The Bertram Inn in Aurora, OH, with
several of the hands on classes at the Permco manufacturing facility in Streetsboro. The
nominal fee of $200.00 per student helps to defer part of the cost of the textbooks, lunches,
and use of special equipment. Other meals and lodging are not included. In order to
avoid confusion and to ensure that you receive our corporate rate, Permco will make your
hotel arrangements. You will need to provide a credit card when checking into the hotel,
Permco is not responsible for your hotel bill. All students need to arrive no later than
Sunday, Octorber 18th.
Class will run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday, with the Graduation
dinner on Thursday evening and check-out at the hotel on Friday morning. Registration is
limited to maintain maximum involvement. Please contact Tim Simmons

need to provide him with your flight itinerary and a contact cell phone. Transportation will
be provided to and from the airport, as well as to and from the manufacturing facility. We
need your confirmed registration by September 30th to secure your room
